The Brown Bull
01:44
|
|||
The sons of gods have died for him,
The sons of mortals die;
He breathes death from his nostril's rim,
Death lightens from his eye.
Slowly he journeys to the West
Trampling the sons of light;
Beneath his hooves their limbs are pressed
Red in the wastes of night.
Beneath his hooves their limbs are pressed
Red in the wastes of night.
The shadows of the primal wars
Darken his giant sides;
And his harness gleams with glimmering stars
That light his mighty strides.
His voice is of the Deep, his path
With the fair dead is strewn;
Awful, upon his brow he hath
The great horns of the moon.
Awful, upon his brow he hath
The great horns of the moon.

Dover

He stood a smokin' just a passin' by the time,
Watchin' the free ones work for their daily dime.
The foreman saw this and cracked him with his whip.
The slave glanced over, he didn't flinch one bit.
The headman said:
Foreman, you're new here,
Don't bother with that slave named Dover.
Mmm
He is a mean one
And no switch or whip will force him over.
Mmm
Later that evening, when the sun was setting down
The slave named Dover, he strolled across the town
To fetch some water, down by the river side
There he met two sirens, who'd come in with the tide
The sirens sang:
Hello, fair mortal,
We sing to warn, by the morn' take cover.
Mmm
Black ships with red sails
Cut through the sea,
to take your land over.
Mmm
True to word, at sun rise, the foreigners appeared
In the midst of choas, Dover headed for the clear
A maiden cried out, haulting Dover in midstride
He grabbed a soldier's sword and fought with all his might
The maiden sighed:
Thank you, o' brave one
For saving me from the war and plunder
Mmm
A slave you were
But to me you are a kind-hearted saviour
Mmm
With war far from them, they rested in the clove
The maiden, Collen, soothed the wounds that Dover held
He said don't worry, my being feels nothing
But she said, you saved me, so you must have felt something
He fell in love
His name was Dover
He was freed by war from the lands slave owners
Mmm
And ages later
His tales are sung, over and over
Mmm

Sludge Soda

Carbonated, caffinated, out with the old; I wanted updated
The latest taste to chase my undying need
Which is to feed, consume, and take all that my body desires
Ignoring warnings, that in the morning, I might be dead instead of snoring.
Stimulated, medicated, out with the sane; it's over-rated
For me, you see, there is no remedy for my lunacy.
Chain me with therapy! My mind is shut, so I'm free.
I am not rooted nor I suited to norm-conformities
Smoke it, lick it, drink it, ticket.
I'll pay the price 'cause I'm addicted.
Pain feels so sweet, my consciousness begins to fleet
I'm lost in the void, gone is my mental state
Listen ya boyo, it's a wonder that I'm still even employeed.
Give me the stuff that makes you hella-sick,
I can take it, make it, break it,
Because I'm Rust-ICK!
Be more careful when you're dealin,
'cause it's your shit that I'll be stealin'
I'll cross-breed it, eat the fetus
Throw it up, make you force feed it.
EAT IT!
Carbonated, caffinated.
Stimulated, medicated.
Smoke it, lick it, drink it, ticket.
Throw it up, make you force feed it.
Carbonated, caffinated.
Stimulated, medicated
Smoke it, lick it, drink it, ticket.
Throw it up, make you force feed it.
EAT IT!

The Faceless Thoughts

Rain dances from the sky down to my feet.
Clouds soar to the wind, drummings its beat.
Even gray seems fair, when you don't give a care,
Or when your mind is truely at ease.
Come hail or snow. Come raging seas.
No barrier could keep me far from thee.
If I know you like I know I do,
You'll wait with a smile just for me.
Once, travelling along a dusty road,
I overheard some men fight over small gold.
Even poor seems rich, when you learn to live with it,
Or when you mind is truely at ease.
Come hail or snow. Come raging seas.
No barrier could keep me far from thee.
If I know you like I know I do.
You'll wait with a smile just for me.
There is a part, of every heart,
That houses doubt and fears.
Don't let it take a hold of you,
I'll join your side quite soon.
Come hail or snow. Come raging seas.
No barrier could keep me far from thee.
If I know you like I know I do,
You'll wait with a smile just for me.
Come hail or snow. Come raging seas
No barrier could keep me far from thee.
If my soul must go to that place that we all know,
I'd wish you to live happily,
While I wait with a smile just for thee.

Please

I thought of you and wrote this song,
I'm sorry that it took so long,
I feared the words and notes would come out wrong.
I told myself I'd follow through,
Hold no regrets, if I told you,
Listen close and you will understand.
I don't know how to say,
Why I feel this way,
I can't pretend to my heart in the end
Please don't let me lose my friend
When my mind won't let it go,
I curse the world and all I know.
It isn't fair, but it's only I who cares.
I told myself, I'm such a fool,
For bringing this between us two
Listen close and you will understand.
I don't know how to say,
Why I feel this way,
I can't pretend to my heart in the end
Please don't let me lose my friend
Please don't let me lose my only friend.

Monday morning, six a.m. My alarm goes off and I wanna yell: God Damn!
Back to work; back to man-eats-man.
Try to live my life just as full as I can.
I'm riding down main street, kickin' back to the beat of my radio, I go to turn up the stereo
I see a lady walk into the road
Slam on my brakes, put everything on hold
Step out and say, "Ma'am, are you alright?"
I could see from light shining off my brights
She was covered in blood from head to toe
Eyes filmed over with a stare so cold
Two shots rang out, and she expired
I looked back to see it was a man who fired
"Save your questions, follow me. I'm all that's left of the P.D."
Head Shot, reload, oh shit I'm out of ammo
Take out my knife, fight for my life
Slice and dice these undead mofo's.
The town's become infested
with all these damn infected.
I would have died in that city
had it not been for Kennedy.
Flyin' in his cruiser, pulling sweet meanuvers
Nothing major, just running over neighboors
Escaping danger, hauling ass,
Making this nightmare a thing of the past
But not too fast. Step-by-Step, steadily
We flee to a far off sanctuary
Away from this city turned cemetary.
Right now it's nothing more then a dream,
When faced with the groans and hungry screams,
Of growing infestation, rest for the night at the police station
Grab supplies, ammunition and nutrition.
Bless his heart, for Kennedy said he'd keep watch and let me sleep.
"Catch me a few winks, while you're at it, Rust,
Tomorrow is live or die, for the both of us."
Head Shot, reload, oh shit I'm out of ammo
Take out my knife, fight for my life
Slice and dice these undead mofo's.
The town's become infested
with all these damn infected.
I would have died in that city
had it not been for Kennedy.
Gunshots serve as a morning bell
Nothin' like waking up to living hell.
Wave after wave, fighting off the infected
Kennedy reloads, I expect the unexpected.
I throw a hand grenade to aid,
It clears a path, just as I prayed,
And we run just as fast as we can
To escape the undead boogeyman.
Years have passed, since that time,
and living still seems so sublime.
How did we survive? How did we make it through?
I'm sure Kennedy remembers, have him tell you,
But you'll have to ask him later, he said he's catching a plane
He told me: "Duty calls, see ya, Rust. I've got orders to go to Spain."
Rescue missions are such a pain... I'd know from experience.
Head Shot, reload, oh shit I'm out of ammo
Take out my knife, fight for my life
Slice and dice these undead mofo's.
The town's become infested
with all these damn infected.
I would have died in that city
had it not been for Kennedy.
Head Shot, reload, oh shit I'm out of ammo
Take out my knife, fight for my life
Slice and dice these undead mofo's.
The town's become infested.
with all these damn infected.
I would have died in that city
had it not been for Kennedy.
I would have died in that city
had it not been for Kennedy.

Leave
And just let me be.
All the good has gone from me.
Now I'm free to do as I wish.
Where's the door, I've had enough of this shit.
You left me bloody and bruised.
Don't stand there looking confused,
You wanted change and I'm not the same,
Like before, not anymore.
So
Please make up your mind.
I've never been the patient kind.
Once it's said, it's as good as dead.
Your honesty is killing me.
You left me bloody and bruised.
Don't stand there looking confused.
You wanted change and I'm not the same,
Like before, not anymore.
A promise I recieved
When you spoke loving words to me,
And my heart was no one's, but yours.
But I failed to see how you truely percieved me.
Just fuck off with your sympathy.
Leave
And just let me be.
All the good has gone from me.
Now I'm free to do as I wish.
Where's the door, I've had enough of this shit.
I'm through with healing my wounds.
Are you still there looking confused?
I've never changed and I'm still the same,
Like before, and forever more.

Forgotten memories remembered,
I've wrote so many names since last December.
I've seen faces, judged cases,
Laid waste and swept out traces of sin,
Drugs, murderers, and prostitution.
I figured out the answer; I know the solution.
But it's a secret, see. Nobody knows 'cept for me.
So sorry, I can't tell ya.
Then again, lean in, and start listenin'.
Smile, say cheese, and I've already won.
First name, Last name, paper, pen; done!
I'll open up my conductor's score,
Raise my baton and make you all move down to the dance floor.
Rhythm pounds through your heart, soul, and mind.
One step off tempo and the chord is mine.
Hiding in the streets wasn't difficult to master.
By my second try, I could write a little faster.
It became a breeze, I would scribble with ease.
I was people pleasin' all the while plannin' a reason,
If I was ever in need of an alibi, for anyone who had the guts to question why
I have to intervene to keep the law alive.
I refuse to sit back. I am justice, revived!
Yeah, that's right; cry out in jubille,
Your prayers shall be heard, you will have victory.
Now if you all would follow me,
I happen to know the way to glory.
I'll open up my conductor's score,
Raise my baton and make you all move down to the dance floor.
Rhythm pounds through your heart, soul, and mind.
One step off tempo and the chord is mine.
Suddenly, your body goes into a convulsion.
You trash around the floor till you can't move from exhaustion.
(kira laugh) My word is law
(kira laugh) A righteous, unforgiving maul of my will
shredding evil to the core
Regardless of emotion and regardless of the gore
Left behind in my wake
A lifeless shell of grief and past mistakes
Innocents will die, there's no doubt about it
Sacrifice; give your life. Submit and commit
Go ahead, spit your wits, dub me a hypocrite
I've got the world on my side, make you a dimwited culprit.
I'll open my conductor's score,
Raise my baton and make you all move down to the dance floor.
Rhythm pounds through your heart, soul, and mind.
One step off tempo and the chord is mine.
The Master Maestro of them all.
I was just first seat, when I answered the call.
No dissonance is heard nowadays,
'cause I'm killng injustice right away.
